Description
The Caves of Is Zuddas to Santadi they can be traveled along a 500 m tourist route that develops inside Mount Meana. The caves are one of the most evocative scenarios in Sardinia.
Walking through the large rooms (easy to access) it will be possible to observe colors and shapes of the different types of concretions: from the most classic stalactites and stalagmites, to the very rare eccentrics of aragonite.
The last room of the cave, entirely white, of breathtaking beauty, with its vault completely covered with eccentric aragonite, in such a quantity as to be considered a real geological rarity.
The visit to the Caves are an excellent alternative to the sea especially on the windiest days or rainy days. You will live an exciting experience al fresco in the Sardinian subsoil.
